Switch to ProTeams · Free migration

Switching is free. We move your data.

Switching to ProTeams takes one 30-minute kickoff call, a set of exports from your current tool, and a review of what we load. Our onboarding team rebuilds your clients, sites, crews and recurring schedules for free on any paid plan. You keep your old tool running during a 1–2 week parallel run. Then your crews start clocking in on ProTeams, and you cancel the old tool when it suits you.

Built by the operator running ProCleanings (NJ) and Verdant Building Services (TX), 100+ sites.

What's included, free on any paid plan

Here's exactly what we do and what we don't, so you know what to expect before the kickoff call.

We rebuild

  • Clients
  • Sites and locations
  • Employees and crews
  • Recurring schedules
  • Supply lists, if you send them

We bring over, if your tool can export it

  • Timesheet history
  • Inspection history
  • Invoices, as reference records

We can't bring over

  • Photos and attachments stored inside your old tool, unless you can download them
  • Anything your old tool won't export

Who does it

The ProTeams onboarding team does the work, starting with a kickoff call with you. You keep running your old tool until cutover, so nothing stops while we build.

There's no one-click import. People on our team load your data by hand from the files you send, then you check it before anyone relies on it.

How it works

Five steps from demo to your crews clocking in on ProTeams.

  1. Book a demo and pick a plan

We walk through ProTeams on your real sites, and you pick the plan that fits your team.

  2. Kickoff call (30 minutes)

We go through your current tool with you and list exactly what to export.

  3. You send the exports

Send the files. If your tool won't export something, spreadsheets or screenshots work too.

  4. We load it, you review it in a parallel run

We aim to have everything loaded within 7 days of receiving your data. Then you run both tools side by side for 1–2 weeks and check our work.

  5. Cutover

Your crews start clocking in on ProTeams. You cancel the old tool on your own schedule.

What to export from your current tool

Find your tool below. Where a tool has no documented export, we work from a spreadsheet or screenshots instead.

Switching from Swept

Swept's documented export is the payroll report. For everything else, you fill in a spreadsheet from your Swept screens and we rebuild it.

Switching from Connecteam

Switching from CleanGuru

CleanGuru documents a sync that sends timesheets to QuickBooks. It doesn't document an export for customers, employees, schedules or inspections, so we rebuild those from a spreadsheet you fill in from your CleanGuru screens.

Switching from spreadsheets, paper or something else

Send what you have. We've onboarded operators from WhatsApp groups and binders.

What we'll need from you

Don't worry about the format. If it's in a spreadsheet, an export or a photo of a binder page, we can work with it.

Switching to ProTeams: common questions

Is the migration really free?
Yes, on any paid plan. We rebuild your clients, sites, crews, recurring schedules and supply lists, and we bring over timesheet history, inspection history and invoices if your current tool can export them. Photos and attachments come over only if you can download them.
How long does switching take?
We aim to have your data loaded within 7 days of receiving it. Then you run both tools side by side for 1–2 weeks before cutover. The biggest variable is how quickly the exports come back.
Do I have to cancel my old tool first?
No. Keep it running while we load your data and during the parallel run. Cancel it after your crews are clocking in on ProTeams, on your own schedule.
What if my current tool won't export anything?
Then we work from a spreadsheet you fill in, or from screenshots of your screens. We've onboarded operators from WhatsApp groups and binders, so a missing export doesn't stop a switch.
Will my crews need retraining?
A little. Crews use the ProTeams mobile app on their own phones to clock in, see their tasks and report issues. Spanish labels are available. We walk your supervisors through it before cutover.
Can I switch in the middle of a contract with my current software?
Yes. Because of the parallel run, you can start on ProTeams now and cancel your old tool when its term ends. We can time cutover to your renewal date.
What happens to my historical data?
Whatever your current tool can export (timesheets, inspections, invoices), we load as reference records. Export before you cancel, because access to your old account may end or go read-only when your subscription does.
